January 31, 2011 - 4216 steps
PH214 (physics) at noon, more about waves as changing E-fields moving at the speed of light, or something and whatnot. Meeting on Thursday, darn.
Went to financial aid office, then walked home. Was going to mail a thing, and right after I put it in the mailbox, the mailman came to collect the mail, so it was good timing. Decided not to Technika today.

A story about this one guy who worked at a jewelry...
I just remembered a nice memory from my childhood and I figured I might as well post it somewhere.
One day when I was little, I was walking around with my grandmother, and I saw a toy I wanted. She wouldn’t let me buy it, and so I started crying. We passed by one of the many jewelry stores on Canal Street and one of the workers (pretty sure he was a security guard of some sort) saw me...

One hour break at 11am; went to library to do physics problems
At noon, went to classroom for computer architecture, turned out it was canceled, went upstairs and ate lunch, then walked home.
At home, did physics problems. I still don’t get...

ECE111 (signals) at 10am, learned things about signals, yep. Phasors, circuit stuff, Fourier analysis
Went home at noon, ate lunch, watched episode 2 of Hanamaru Kindergarten, took a 2 hour nap.
ECE131 (solid state) at 4pm, went over some things that looked a lot like chemistry.
PH214 (physics) lecture at 5pm, went over an example that I think is probably more complicated than any problem...

PH214 (physics) at 1pm, more polarization stuff. Saw some cool demonstrations with linear polarizers. There was also corn oil and a beaker, and it looked cool when projected.

In this dream
I met [Hidamari Sketch] Miyako’s voice actress in some building, without knowing it was her, then at some point I realized and I was really nervous
I happened to have volume 1 of Hidamari Sketch in my bag so I went and got it so she could sign it
My friend made her sign a bunch of other things and I was like “why”

ECE110 (signals and systems) at 9am, intro to… well, signals and systems. Discrete and continuous signals, uhh… yeah basically.
11am, waited in room for discrete math, but there weren’t enough people for the class (needed 10) so the class was canceled for the semester.
Went to McDonald’s until about noon, then Technika from 1:20pm until about 2pm. So many failures. I got...

ECE164 (data structures and algorithms) at 1pm, intro to course, some methods of sorting, efficiency, etc. Got let out about 50 minutes early, so I went to the 5th floor and browsed twitter on my iPod.
ECE131 (solid state materials and devices) at 3pm, a fairly lengthy one-hour overview of the course, most of which I did not understand...
