oh hey it’s february
11am, AI. Sensorless problem, advanced search strategies (heuristics, best-first search, A* search)
noon, commnets. Went over homework.
1pm stochastics. Mapping a PDF in terms of x to y (technical term is something I don’t have written down so I don’t know what it is actually) and then Markov/Chebychev inequalities. And then stuff about reliability but the professor made an error somewhere and spent like 10-15 mins figuring out why
2pm software engineering. Finished java overview (interfaces), and then on to textbook stuff: faults&failures, quality, safety critical, risk, boundaries, activities, entities, relationships, stages of software development, types of developers, 7 key changes in software engineering, 8 fundamental notions of software engineering, waterfall model, v-model, prototyping model. Basically just a lot of terminology.
4pm went home
spent some time on stochastics homework; basically too much time on a single problem
